    Y'know, it's been too long.
Let's see. It's the night before Halloween. And I've got no plans besides my usual Saturday plans. I'm not even sure on that. But either way, I'm planning to have some fun anyway. That's about as far ahead as I usually plan out entries, so I'm winging it here. Let's see. Hmm. Nope. Got nothing witty. I'm witless. And I'm not even scared. *rim-shot* Here's hoping there's something in here worth seeing, otherwise well, I dunno. Err....

No question. Season's one and two of the Muppet Show, Ghost in the Shell 2, X-2, and anything else I could get my hands on for the last.

    Writer's Block: Priorities

What quality do you think is most important in a significant other?

    View 501 Answers

Jeez. Do I have to pick one?

    Let's see.

Honesty I can do without. (I have on several occasions, thankfully not this one.)

Looks aren't even considered. (no witty comment here folks.)

A sense of humour is handy, but again. Have gone without. (You keep looking at these brackets, looking for something funny.)

Consistency is hoped for, but again, unneeded. (There's nothing funny here. I'm out of funny.)

Intelligence, would be nice. But of course, at least two of the folks I dated lacked it. (You there. Roll your search checks so you can find the funny.)

Linked to the last one, wisdom is good too. (Keep looking. You fail the DC.)

If you can't figure yourself out, don't come to me for it. (Thought I was gonna make a D&D pun, did we? Think again.)

I think I'm getting a little long winded for my usual posts, and will mention that Patience, is definitely the quality I look for in my significant other.

(I mean, who else would wait this long for the joke that obviously isn't coming?)

Data. Definitely Data. Anyone who can deadpan "I believe I speak for everyone here, when I say: To hell with our orders, sir." and mean it gets points from me.

    Yearly shout out the first.
Right. The year is coming to a close, and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for being in it with me. Seriously. Uber win goes to Jenny for sticking with me a whole year (relationship record) and to Tunis for the crash space that I've been using just about every Saturday. Seriously. Your couch. Most comfy couch ever. That just about finishes up this rant, and no, there will be no yearly shout out the second until next year. And then, only if I remember.

I've been listening to Tales of the Afternow. It's spooky. But I like it. It's like books on tape, but far cooler.

    Writer's Block: Physical Education

Call it gym, P.E., recess, or pure hell, most people have participated in a class at school that focused on games and athletics. What sport or game did you hate the most when you were a kid? What sport or game was your favorite?

Elementary school, I liked dodgeball. Baseball, on the other hand, wasn't my forte. As for highschool, I loved the combat sports. Fencing. Archery. The martial arts class we took. I wasn't amazingly good at or fond of football.

    The..Pain...
    K. Hands up. Who here has ever torn the neck off a bottle of wine by mistake? I did. Bout four days ago or so. I still have the use of all my fingers, am not dead, and probably won't scar. But still. I'm officially "NOT ALLOWED" to open anything involving corks ever again. The funny thing about it is that Jen was hugely worked up about it, while I'm simply sitting there, trying to calm her down.

Note to self. However much I like pirates, I'm apparently not allowed to name my kids after them (in the far future). I learned the hard way. Jen flat out refused to let me name our firstborn Edward. (for those not in the know, Edward Teach was better known as Blackbeard)
